This policy explains how DouPing handles information while you turn photos and ideas into bead patterns, prepare materials, follow rows, manage your profile, and make purchases.
A policy shaped around making
This Privacy Policy applies to the DouPing iOS application and the features reached through it. “DouPing,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the provider of the application. By using DouPing, you acknowledge the practices described below.
DouPing is designed for planning physical bead art: importing a reference, translating colors into a practical palette, editing a grid, preparing materials, following a row guide, and organizing projects.

Information you choose to provide
You may provide profile details, creative inputs, feedback, reports, and other content when you use a corresponding feature. Imported or captured images can contain details about people, places, or objects, so select material that you are entitled to use.
Information associated with app activity
DouPing may handle project status, actions needed to resume a pattern, purchase fulfillment details, permission status, and basic app or device information required to keep features reliable, secure, and compatible.
02 · Turning input into a plan
How information is used
- Authenticate your account and maintain the session you request.
- Create bead-pattern previews from selected photos and match colors to the DouPing bead palette.
- Save edits, calculate material quantities, restore making progress, and prepare exports.
- Personalize your profile, favorites, blocked-creator list, and project organization.
- Process eligible in-app purchases, credit bead currency, and prevent duplicate delivery.
- Receive feedback and reports, support content controls, troubleshoot errors, and protect app integrity.
- Comply with applicable obligations and enforce terms that protect users and the service.
03 · Tools you open deliberately
Camera, Photos, and Microphone
DouPing requests access at the point where a feature needs it. iOS lets you review or change these choices in Settings.
- Photos: select a reference for photo-to-bead conversion or choose a profile image.
- Camera: capture a new reference or profile image.
- Microphone: record, replay, replace, or remove an optional voice introduction.
If access is declined, the related capture or recording feature may be unavailable, while other parts of DouPing can continue to be used.
04 · Services that complete the route
Apple services and disclosure
Sign in with Apple
If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple provides DouPing with a developer-specific identifier and any name or email address you elect to share. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s own privacy materials.
App Store purchases
In-app purchases are authorized and billed through Apple. DouPing receives transaction information needed to verify the purchase and deliver the selected bead package. Payment-card credentials and App Store billing authentication are handled by Apple.
Other disclosures
Information may be disclosed when you direct us to do so; when needed to deliver a feature through Apple platform services; to investigate fraud, abuse, safety, or security concerns; to comply with valid legal process; or as part of a business reorganization where appropriate protections continue to apply.
05 · Finishing and clearing a project
Retention, security, and deletion
Information is kept for the period reasonably needed to provide the feature you selected, preserve your account and project continuity, complete purchase fulfillment, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations.
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of electronic processing can guarantee absolute security, so you should protect access to your iPhone and Apple Account and avoid including unnecessary sensitive details in feedback or creative content.
You can start account deletion from Profile → Settings → Account & Data → Delete Account. The confirmation flow removes the account record and associated information, subject to records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction-reconciliation purposes. You can also contact us about a deletion request.

Your choices and rights
- Edit profile details and replace or remove profile media.
- Manage camera, photo, and microphone permission choices in iOS Settings.
- Unfavorite inspiration, unblock creators, delete projects, remove exports, or delete your account.
- Manage Sign in with Apple from your Apple Account settings.
- Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or another privacy right available in your region by contacting us.
We may need enough information to understand and verify a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
07 · Additional details
Children, regions, and policy changes
Children
DouPing is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a particular region. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us.
Use across regions
Privacy rights and processing requirements differ by jurisdiction. Where regional law gives you additional protections, DouPing will handle eligible requests in accordance with those requirements.
Updates to this policy
We may revise this policy when DouPing’s features, legal obligations, or privacy practices change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes may also be presented through the app or another appropriate notice.
